Constitutional Amendments

In the last Annual General Meeting held on 20th May 2012 at Cheshire Homes, the Governing Body duly approved the following two proposals under Section 9d(m) of the Constitution : 

(i)                 Membership fee: many members have paid annual membership or part payment of life membership. If the Governing Body approves, as a special measure, they can be given one chance to pay the balance amount (and complete full Rs 12,000/-), they may do so and become life members.

(ii)               Amendment – To add to section 9(e) – Further in the long absence of minimum 90 days /resignation/incapacity of Chairman, the Vice Chairman shall take over as new Chairman; appoint a new Vice Chairman in consultation with members of the Governing Body from amongst its members. The vacancy so caused in the Governing Body shall be filled as per clause

12(b).
