Cheshire Homes gifts tricycles and wheel chair to physically challenged on Independence Day

For 12 years old Parminder Singh, 18 years old Gurdev Singh, and 10 years old Khushi, 15th August was a freedom from immobility.  

All the three are physically challenged who received tricycles and wheel chair to move around, thanks to the Cheshire Homes Chandigarh.

Director Social Welfare Rajesh Jogpal unfurled the national flag along with Mrs. Promila Chandra Mohan of SOREM, the governing council members of Cheshire Homes including Chairman Gurdip S. Deep, Vice Chairman Raminder Kaur Panag, General Secretary Maniki Deep, amongst other members and that of Inner Wheel Club of Chandigarh Midtown, and the neighbours in Sector 21. 

The best part was the involvement of the local residents in the celebrations who could meet with 20 residents of the Cheshire Homes, which is supported by the Department of Social Welfare Chandigarh Administration, Mr. Deep informed.
